By downloading or using HalfPuff ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What HalfPuff is — and isn't

HalfPuff is a personal tracking and behavior-change tool to help you cut down on vaping at your own pace. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical, psychological, or addiction-treatment advice. Nicotine dependence is a health condition; for medical guidance or a cessation program, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. You use HalfPuff at your own discretion and responsibility.

Estimates are illustrative

Figures such as money saved, puffs avoided, your projected vape-free date, and recovery trends are estimates based on the information you enter and data you choose to connect. They are meant to motivate, not to be precise financial or medical measurements, and may differ from reality.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information (like your baseline and costs) so the app's estimates are useful to you.
• Use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use.
• Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app.

Subscriptions & billing

HalfPuff's core counter, craving rescue, and insights are free. HalfPuff Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple's In-App Purchase, which unlocks the Custom Taper Plan and Recovery.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You manage or cancel your subscription anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Any applicable free trial's unused portion is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial, where that applies.

Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's terms, not by us.

Intellectual property

HalfPuff, the Nimbo character, its design, and its content are owned by PLAYRIOT and protected by law. These terms don't grant you any ownership — only a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

HalfPuff is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PLAYRIOT is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the app, including any reliance on its estimates or health-related features.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll revise the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
